From our friends
Mandala of Gratitude and Peace at the “Healthy Human’s-Healthy Earth” conference in Freiburg May 2003

“The big mandala was a big attraction and people enjoyed writing on it.
At the end we held it up on stage and the organisers announced that it will travel with them to all their coming meetings”. KB

Mandala for World Peace, at a “Day for Peace” in Birmingham April 2003

“I was one of the participants creating a collective mandala dedicated to Peace recently.
The mandala felt like the world; a world filled with peace and joy all of us can contribute no matter what religion, race, skin color or age. At that moment when we were writing our messages our hearts were one. May Peace Prevail on Earth”. DJ

This Mandala is in public display in Birmingham Central Library.

Creating an energy field of love and light together

Great Mandalas of the Universal God
Mirrors that convey to humankind
The Will of the universal space
The Law of the universal space

The grace of the Divinities
The love of the Divinities
The nostalgia for God

— Masami Saionji

The first large mandalas were created at the Fuji Sanctuary in 1999 and then again in 2000. They had a very specific purpose and are being kept carefully wrapped until they can be made available to the public.
Mandala of Gratitude to Earth and Nature, Mandala of Infinite Light, Jinrui Soku Kami Nari, Humanity is divine, Mandala. These three mandalas are 7 meter in diameter and were written under precise guidelines by the collective efforts of the members of Byakko. Many friends who visited the sanctuary during that period of time also had a chance to participate in the project.

One of the Jinrui Soku Kami Nari Mandala is permanently displayed at the Fuji Sanctuary, its strong energy constantly radiating to the world. One of the Mandala of Gratitude to Earth and Nature has been lent for various mandala exhibits in Japan.
Large mandalas are becoming more and more popular and are finding their way at conferences, festivals and other public venues.

Collective Mandalas — A wonderful spiritual practice

Creating a sacred mandala circle for peace, in gratitude to the earth, nature and all Life, gives us a chance to come together to celebrate our oneness as much as our individuality in service to the planet.

Each person’s writing is unique and creates a particular flow of energy inside the mandala.
The end result is a field that is vibrant with the energy of the people and which radiates peace, love and joy infinitely to the world.
It is always beautiful and people report feeling inspired, joyful and grateful for the opportunity.

Mandala in Gratitude and Love to Water
In support of the United Nations Year of Fresh Water

Introduces the concept of writing mandalas in Gratitude to Water which helps heigthen the spiritual aspect of water and the effect of our words and thoughts on this particular element. (Well documented in the book “Message from Water” Emoto ) .

As the group that originated the idea, the Nana Maru opted to have a mandala per each continent plus one for the Middle East.
The paper is such that the mandalas can “travel” that is they can be shipped from country to country. Hundreds of people have enjoyed writing on the various water mandalas circulating the globe, they were a big success on July 25 the “Day of Love and Gratitude to Water” initiated by Mr. Emoto’s group. (The Message from Water)
The aim is to have them completed by the end of the year for possible exhibit in the lobby of the United Nations building.

Planting seeds of hope and peace through a mandala writing
Florence Italy, 2002

At the height of the Israel-Palestinian conflict last year, two young women, Palestinian and Israeli, met through a peace organization in Florence (Temple of Peace). They agreed to create a mandala together calling for Peace to be in Palestine and Peace to be In israel in both Hebrew and Arabic.
This mandala was immediately noticed by the city and found its way to the Florence City Council who made posters of it and distributed it to all schools, libraries and other youth centers. “Going over grief and fear we choose a new way of living and understanding, we create a new present in which we are responsible and aware. Let’s increase the circle”. From Mayada and Daphna.
