Dawning of The Earth Ceremony

Dawning of Earth –– Mitama Matsuri
Each year in September, thousands of people gather at the Fuji Sanctuary to celebrate the Ceremony for the Purification of Global History and Mitama Matsuri (All Souls Festival).
This event which is one of the major events hosted by Byakko, has been held once a year for the last forty years. It is an opportunity for us to submit names of deceased ancestors, family members, friends and acquaintances for special purification. Anyone is welcome to do so. As the prayer members (Byakko and friends of Byakko) deepened in their prayers and their consciousness expanded, the ceremony gradually evolved to include purification on many other levels.

Starting in the late 80’s, in addition to our ancestors and friends, special purification sessions were conducted for people who died in various tragedies and natural disasters around the world. A very special session was also conducted so as to send light to the lost and roaming spirits in “the world without light”. (Closest translation).

It is said that the various spirits who loose their lives abruptly and tragically are causing spiritual diseases and afflictions in this world. This ceremonial purification is a way to assist them in finding their way back to the world of light. One way to reach out to spirits hiding in fears in the depth of darkness is to make an IN (Mudra) through which the light can travel, and this is an important part of the work of Byakko Shinko Kai. As a result of this intensive and continuous purification, cracks have been created in the “lightless world” (lower astral areas, lower than what is commonly called hell) allowing each year for more light to flow in and for more spirits to climb on this “ladder” of light. The power of the members who assemble in the Prayer Field to help this process has increased by that much over the past decades.

In 1999, the ceremony took on another dimension yet, as the purification of humanity’s history was introduced.
The past history of humanity, of cruelty, racism, hatred, anger, greed, warfare etc. is purified by the collective energy and spiritual power of the members assembled- including all who join in spirit from abroad- through special INs (Mudra), words and thought forms.

Over the years the ceremony has evolved into quite a dramatic mysterious ceremonial event. Please join us in prayers and “IN” and do send your "Mitama Shiro", (special written forms, see above for further explanation) from overseas. Connecting especially on that day with Fuji Sanctuary's energy helps immensely with the purification and elevation of all souls on the various planes of existence with a tremendous repercussion on the earth plane.

What you can do?
From your home, in a group or with friends, please connect with the Sanctuary on this day. Light, prayer, IN know no boundary. We look forward to meeting you and celebrate with you the uplifting of all departed souls and the thus of the planet.

Peaceful Transition
Now that the idea of a peaceful death, in the case of a patient, passing at home with family and friends in a quiet environment is starting to take roots, another important step will be for a more wide recognition and understanding that a peaceful transition is of utmost importance not only for the person concerned, but for the planet as a whole.

“The problem for Nature is not that people are going to die? The problem for Nature is HOW people die. A peaceful death allows a peaceful transition to other dimensions. A violent death... creates a problem. It scatters the shell-shocked soul into numerous fragments of disembodied consciousness called hungry ghosts by the Chinese... War does this on a massive scale, causing dislocations in the global psyche and seeding future violence".
(Excerpt from an article written by Michael Winn, on the Taoist tradition )

Death (the fear of death) remains a big taboo in our societies, it is grand time that things about death and the world after be spoken of with clarity.
