About the Ceremony

This special ceremony for world peace is one of the most recent events in the history of Byakko and the Fuji Sanctuary.
Following Byakko's move from its former headquarters in Tokyo in April 1998, to the Fuji Sanctuary, the ceremony was held for the first time on July 11, 1998. It was a fairly sudden request from Mrs. Saionji. After an announcement to the staff and a close group of members, the date was set shortly.
These short notice events are not rare at Byakko, especially more so lately as the earth and humanity have entered a most critical and important transition period in their evolution, requiring many extra-ordinary energy work to be accomplished.
The first ceremony thus took place from exactly 09:00 am to 17:00 pm, and was achieved without a break, that is all the precautions were taken so that the group did not have to leave the area at the Sanctuary during the entire prayer. Such total focused attention was absolutely essential to achieving its purpose. The prayer was done by first reciting for each country on earth (192) the Declaration of humanity 's divinity, followed by the performing of the Divinity IN (Mudra) for Humanity.
The results equaled the intensity of the prayer, in the words of Mrs. Saionji: "Something unprecendented has taken place, great harmony has been achieved here, a big energy shift has happened at the Sanctuary. The spiritual vibration equalled the vibration of the higher dimension (4th), and the dimensional level has risen. This new vibration permeating at Fuji has been carved in, and through this the universal light has been imprinted into all things. The air, the plants, the grass, the rocks, the trees, all things at the Sanctuary are filled with such energy and emanate it to the planet infinitely. This energy can bring a sense of greater peace and uplift to the people who will visit, it is an energy that elevates and purifies, only good things occur on this land which radiates with love, light, power and Life."
Since then, this very prayer which focuses on performing the completed form of the Divinity IN (Mudra) for humanity (Jinrui Soku Kami Nari IN) for each nation on earth, has been held every year although with a few changes, so that sometimes it could been accomplished in 6 hours. As well breaks are taken between each continent.
In 2002, an extra dimension was still given to the prayer with the recitation of the mantra "All Humanity is Divine" (Jinrui Mina Soku Kami Nari) being intoned all along, imparting yet more powerful energy, just by adding the word "mina". (Koto dama "mina" meaning "all") . The Ceremony is always performed in total silence, except for the prayer itself.

If you are familiar with the Divinity IN for Humanity (Jinrui Soku Kami Nari IN), please join the prayer by performing the IN for each country. This IN is the most needed energy at this time on our planet. If time does not permit, you may like to focus on some of the countries that are in greater need of light and peaceful energy, or choose to pray for a continent with which you resonate more. Each of your prayers and IN are precious, do as much as you can and make sure to connect with this prayer group of many thousands at the Fuji Sanctuary.

On the spiritual significance
of the national flags
|
The flags of each country are placed around the Prayer Field in alphabetical order and by continent.
They grace the Prayer Field all year round, and are taken down only during some events where they are replaced by a single color flag, such as purple (September event) or white and red (New Year event).
Each day someone from the Sanctuary is responsible for going around the field to do a special prayer geared specially toward the awakening of the leadership of each nation.
The flag of the nation represents its spiritual symbol . It is a place (a medium) where the Divinity of that country can intervene and receive the vibrations of our prayers, in turn using these vibrations on subtle energy levels. The flags are the medium between heaven and earth allowing much unseen energy work to be achieved in a country.
Mrs. Saionji often refers to the immense gratitude that the various Divinities shower onto the participants at the end of a prayer, and thanks the supporting members always with infinite loving joy.
Whereas small or large, each country is honored and prayed for in a similar way, all religious and ethnic groups within a nation are embraced.
Since December 02, Mrs. Saionji also remarked that for the first time, people joining in prayer for world peace from their own country are here with us on these ceremonial days, gathering under their country’s flag along side the Divinities. This is the most wonderful news.
