Aside from the five large ceremonies held yearly at the sanctuary, close to 3,000 people from the greater Tokyo area regularly gather in our Prayer Field to pray for world peace. Rain or shine, this group of dedicated world peace servers travel to the sanctuary and through their shining prayers, a wave of peaceful energy is delivered to the planet at large

As of early this year, the prayer for the peace of each country is conducted with 600 flag bearers. The prayer is performed using the Universal "IN" (mudra) "Jinrui Soku Kami Nari" (Humanity is divine) in its abbreviated form.

Concluding the prayer, under the guidance of Mrs. Saionji, a ray of Ultimate Universal Light is anchored at the sanctuary. About this light, addressing the group, Mrs. Saionji has remarked: "The sunlight reaches the earth, but the Ultimate Universal Light is something that never reaches the surface of the earth. Gathered here, you bear the mission of introducing this light into the earth. This light descends because of your existence." The very same light reaches to anyone who "Prayer Link "IN' with us on those days.

Welcoming the New Year at the Fuji Sanctuary is a most special experience. Infused with a beautiful Japanese ceremonial energy, the event focuses on reaching out to humanity through the chanting of the kotodama "Jinrui Soku Kami Nari" (humanity is divine). Aside from it the ceremony takes place in silence. The end is marked by Mrs. Saionji's address, which very clearly gives the tone for the year that is to unfold. Traditionally, people will choose a "Shishin" (Spiritual guidance for the year) which is invariably the best words of wisdom for anyone at the very time they choose it. "Shishin" are not only beautiful, they are also very precious to us, giving inspiring guidance at the start of each New Year, a favored time for new commitments and inner reflection. All year round, our "Shishin" reminds us of an important message given by the Guardian Divinities who protect and guide us. We recommend posting your "Shishin" in a prominent place, agendas work well.

Fuji Sanctuary is a sacred place on earth where for decades, world peace prayer gatherings and other events contributing to the awakening of humanity's consciousness to divine truth have been held. For the first time in this long world peace history, we are calling on the global community of spiritual leaders, peace loving people, religious leaders and the youth to join us in this special world peace prayer event.

From Fuji Sanctuary Prayer Field, we will pray together for the peace and harmony of every country on earth, while performing the special universal Mudra (IN) 'Jinrui Soku Kami Nari', Humanity is a Divine Being or is Divine. We will use also the national flag of each country as its spiritual symbol, each flag being a physical "vessel" through which our prayers are carried and resonated

Representatives of various faiths will be invited to share in their prayers with all people assembled, the unifying prayer Mudra 'Jinrui Soku Kami Nari', Humanity is Divine bringing us into Oneness. The ceremony will center around the prayer for world peace, beautiful music and dance performances.

Although the Fuji Sanctuary was founded in 1969, it is not until 1986 that the sanctuary opened its doors widely to all friends of peace word wide. Along with the special invocations in gratitude to earth and nature and the powerful vibrations of the Divinity 'IN' (universal mudra), it is safe to say that millions of prayers for the peace and happiness of humanity have been resonating from the sanctuary over these few decades. The continuous energy generated by everyone who has come to pray at the sanctuary, combined with Mount Fuji’s powerful vibrations contribute to the subtle, mysterious energy every visitor experiences when at the sanctuary. The ethereal quality of the air, the infinite life vibration of nature, the resonance of the peace prayer, all are merging to uplift one's mind, body and soul.

As the Fuji Sanctuary moves into yet a new phase, inviting the religious and the spiritual community to participate in the ceremonial program, we invite all friends of peace to come and join us for this important prayer for the peace of the world.

This special ceremony was first held at the sanctuary in 1998. It is held in total silence, to the exception of the sounding of the Divinity IN for Humanity. Performing the Divinity IN for Humanity in its completed form,close to 4,000 participants pray for the peace and happiness of each nation on earth. They are joined by thousands of friends overseas who "LINK IN" for the occasion. The first time this prayer was held in 1998, it took 8 hours to complete and some very important energy shifts took place at the Sanctuary then. Initiated 35 years ago, his ceremony is one of the oldest event sponsored by Byakko. Earlier on, it was conducted by Masahisa Goi alone with participants assisting him through their world peace prayer only. Today the participants have acquired greater strength, spiritual energy and power and are fully assisting Mrs. Saionji (Chaiperson and spiritual leader of the movement) in the various phases of the ceremony.
The main purpose of the ceremony is to first purify the departed souls that are roaming aimlessly creating miseries on the planet. Since 1998 we have expanded this work and started the purification of humanity's long accumulated discordant thought waves (may be called karma). The main "tools" used in order to reach into the darker realms of existence are a variety of "IN" (Mudra) used specifically for this ceremony.

This is the lightest of all events held at the Sanctuary as we simply gather to celebrate the birthday of the late founder Masahisa Goi (real day November 22) and partake in the joyful feeling of deep gratitude all people share towards him. It is a time for story telling, and more recently for a truly festive time filled with music, dance, children booth, food booths etc. Masahisa Goi was a true lover of arts and has written many poems and songs.
It is the only special event where no special requirements for participation are needed.
